py2exe y matplot

Hola
Estoy tratando de hacer un paquete el cual usa matplot
El caso es que el ejecutable aranca bien pero al requerir de matplot falla

  File "matplotlib\__init__.pyc", line 240, in wrapper

  File "matplotlib\__init__.pyc", line 479, in _get_data_path
RuntimeError: Could not find the matplotlib data files

He buscado y he llegado a aquí

pero no sé muy bien que hacer.

Uso
python 2.5
matplotlib-0.98.5.2.win32-py2.5.exe
wx 2.8
Algien tiene un ejemplo de fichero setup.py?
