My mistake. That was a late night post.  I wonder why unicodedata.so
is so big then.

It must be character names:

$ python -v
>>> '\N{DIGIT ONE}'
dlopen("/.../unicodedata.so", 2);
import unicodedata # dynamically loaded from /.../unicodedata.so
'1'
