In my case, I can no longer compile Python on Windows (VC5 worked up
to 2.3).  So to test IDLE against 2.4 on that platform, I need a
Windows installer.

As I recollect, there was discussion about moving to VC7 which has
a free compiler available.  Is that going to happen on 2.4?
