Considering the short time , I'd just like to say that Cuba has been
granted with the responsibility of organizing SciPy LA 2017 conference
. This is scheduled on May 2017 in Havana, Cuba .

As Chairman of the conference I'm now in the process of "recruiting"
persons to complete the definition of the OrgaTeam . We are working
towards delivering in Cuba an anticipated call for papers . More will
have to be done (and said) in the next few months .
