I have tried <https://github.com/mention-bot/how-to-unsubscribe>, but
that didn’t seem to have much effect. At least, I was still getting
subscribed to new pull requests after blocking the bot.

I am also aware of
<https://github.com/python/cpython/blob/master/.mention-bot> but
haven’t added myself there yet.
