[python-committers] hg clone cpython newrepo aborts

I tried re-cloning from hg.python.org and it works fine. So. it was my
local clone which was corrupted.  Ezio on IRC indicated that it could be
disk problem.
I shall use the new clone.  I had not seen this bad behavior earlier.
