Note that I'm not writing the 3.2 What's New at all; Raymond Hettinger
maintains it and can therefore set his own rules.  (But I imagine he
doesn't mind if items are added -- he could have taken out the initial
comments from the file if he disagreed with what they say, but he
didn't.)

In general I would say go ahead and do it; changes can always be
backed out, after all.
