I think you think you're found a bug in Python, but I'm afraid it's difficult to tell from your report what you think that bug is. Please state clearly what you did, what you expected to happen (and why), and what actually happened. You may find this article useful: https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html
You might also consider asking for help on user forums. It's much more likely that any surprising behaviour you're seeing here is due to a bug in your code rather than in Python itself.
