print(get_type_hints(f))
# {'arg': typing.Union[str, NoneType]}
# as expected
class T(NamedTuple):
field: str = None
print(get_type_hints(T))
# {'field': <class 'str'>}
# but it should be
# {'field': typing.Union[str, NoneType]}
# for consistency
