[issue14214] test_concurrent_futures hangs

Is this a single failure that you encountered, or have you been able to
reproduce it on subsequent runs? I haven't seen a failure in
test_concurrent_futures in 10-15 runs of "make test" (also on Ubuntu
11.10 64-bit).
