It is not impossible that this is a bug in python, but IMHO pretty unlikely, it is way more likely to be a bug in a 3th-party extension.

BTW. This issue is very likely to languish unless you add a way to reproduce the issue (and preferably without Komodo).

If you do have a reliable way to reproduce the issue you could try using a debug build of python (--with-pydebug) to gather more information.
