Python 2.7 alpha 4 will be released on 2010-03-06 according to PEP 0373. The Misc/NEWS (http://svn.python.org/projects/python/trunk/Misc/NEWS) mentions : What's New in Python 2.7 alpha 4? Since this is almost _the python 2.7 alpha 4_, I expected to show latest version number. I guess it'll show correctly after the final release i.e. two days later.
