With threads disabled under fedore core 1

uname -r
2.4.22-1.2188.nptlsmp

./python -E -tt ./Lib/test/regrtest.py -vv test_imp
test_imp
test test_imp failed -- expected imp.lock_held() to be True
1 test failed:
    test_imp

Looks shallow. :)
