Initial Comment:
In section 4.2.5 ("Match Objects"), the "start" and
"end" methods are described as "start([group])" and
"end([group])".  In both cases, "group" is (corectly)
in italics, but in the case of "end", the square
brackets surrounding "group" are also italicized.

Unfortunately, this is a tool problem, not a minor typo. 
This affects both 2.2.x and 2.3.  Updating summary.
