As far as I can tell, the PyObject_GetIter function is
not mentioned in the C API documentation. If I
understand correctly, it should be listed somewhere on
the "6.1 Object Protocol" page.

I took a shot at documenting this myself. Attached is a
patch against ver. 1.8.6.1 of Doc/api/abstract.tex.
