Summary: README file for Unix not up to date

Initial Comment:
The README file instructions for building Python
suggest editing the Modules/Setup directory to select
the modules to be built. The new build process
automatically builds some of the modules. Is there a
reason for leaving the modules in Setup if they are
built automatically?

Perhaps the introductory paragraph or README should
mention the distutil build process.

With the rework of the build process is the
instructions for using VPATH still valid?

The README now discusses setup.py.
