Summary: W2k and pyton 1.5 (PR#353)

Details: Jitterbug-Id: 353

Version: 1.5
OS: W2k

When installing pyton 1.5 in my w2k, i noticed an error message when starting
IDLE(Pyton gui)as admin. The error was some dll not found, tk80.dll and
tcl80.dll, in the c:\programmi\python\dlls dir. The program then continued
normally.
I fixed it copying them there and now starts normally. But IDLE(Pyton gui)keeps
not starting at all while in user mode.Bye

Comment:
This problem is not specific to Windows 2000. For Python 1.5.2 and earlier, you need to install Tcl/Tk yourself, before installing Python. Just as the install instructions tells you to. This will be 'fixed' in 1.6 and later, which include a Tcl/Tk installer.
