After earning a BSc in Computer Science this year I recently started to work for a company that is adopting Python for some in-house projects and I am involved in the first big pure Python project there. I am reading a lot of Python literature, blogs, lists, etc. and I am interested to get involved in the community a bit more. So, not an author (yet) ... but I thought I might have a peek here as well :) Regards Oliver From doug.hellmann at gmail.com Sun Jul 10 20:54:51 2011 From: doug.hellmann at gmail.com (Doug Hellmann) Date: Sun, 10 Jul 2011 14:54:51 -0400 Subject: [Python-authors] Short introduction In-Reply-To: <440BA740-5EFA-40D3-963A-AA8EE98DA192@bestwalter.de> References: <440BA740-5EFA-40D3-963A-AA8EE98DA192@bestwalter.de> Message-ID: On Jul 10, 2011, at 1:10 PM, Oliver Bestwalter wrote: > Hello all, > > I am Oliver from Germany and I started programming with Python about two years ago. This list is pretty quiet. I originally thought we might use it to find tech reviewers, authors for the now-defunct Python Magazine, and other purposes. That never really panned out very well, though, and I don't remember the last time someone posted here. Ah, well.
