I am sorry for being unclear with my question.

blog.pytest.org contains the file
https://github.com/pytest-dev/blog.pytest.org/blob/master/content/CNAME

As you mentioned that a trailing dot was missing in the DNS
configuration, do you know whether this trailing dot missing there too?
