Homebrew [is considering](https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew/pull/32765) translating and building pypy with --shared by default to support uWSGI better at a user's request. Comments on the wisdom of distributing with --shared are invited here or there.

I visited #pypy on Freenode and @arigo suggested I should open an issue here and that --shared might be a sane choice for pypy's official binary distribution.
