I just added the role of Sponsorship Coordinator to
<http://wiki.python.org/moin/PyCon2006/Staff>.  Does anyone want to
volunteer to contact organizations to ask them to sponsor PyCon?  (I
just got the first e-mail from a potential sponsor, and I realized we
need someone to handle this.)

I think David Ascher handled sponsorship last year; David, do you want
to do it again for '06?  Perhaps the Treasurer or Swag Coordinator
would want to add this to their plates, or a third person can handle
sponsorship.
