[portland] installing python on ubuntu

Hi Stephen,
Welcome!
Python comes preinstalled in Ubuntu. Did you try typing in 'python' in the
terminal to see if it launches you into the interpreter?
If that doesn't work, you can install python using the following command in
your terminal:
apt-get install python
