[Patches] Help with issue3381

Hello,

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question. I am having
the problem of mentioned in http://bugs.python.org/issue3381. But I do not
know how I can apply the patch to make it work for me. I am trying to
install python 3.0.1. I appreciate for any help.
