Summary: calltip awkwardly shortened
Initial Comment:
Because of the fact, that calltips are truncated, if
the overall length exceeds some value (75), the second
line is shortened too much, if the parameterlist (i. e.
first line) is relatively long.
Example:
for the function:
def setup(self, width=0.5, height=0.75, startx=None,
starty=None):
""" Set the size and position of the main window.
...
The second line only displays
Set the size and positio...
although even unshortended it would be shorter than the
first line. This seems counterproductive.
I submit a patch, which lets both lines be at most
as long as they would be with the former code. (Of
course one could think of different solutions.)
