[omaha] Great Meeting last night!

Shawn, we are always looking for presenters (you know how users groups
are<g>). I for one, would be glad to hear a talk about Hadoop and
Map/Reduce. I've never used Hadoop but have some experience using
python+map/reduce on couchdb. They are most definitely not equivalent
products but I am interested in the map/reduce framework and how they
compare at abstract levels.

As for Wednesday meetings, I have not seen any negative feedback but have
seen positive -- so I am +0 on moving from Monday to Wednesday nights as
either night works equally well for me. (I hope others on the list will
voice their opinion on the subject.)

Also, there was some interest shown in holding future meetings at different
locations. One person offered to see if they could host an upcoming
meeting at their place of business. (I mention no names until that person
has permission.) So if you or your business would like to host a users
group meeting we would love to know about it! If you wish, just post to
the group. We like new things!

Best,

Jeff
