maybe a post to the pythonmac list would help this, too -- someone 
recently offered up buildbots for python itself, maybe they'd be willing 
to help out scipy, too.

Come to think of it, I have a Intel 10.6 machine I could offer up -- it 
may not always have the same ip address, but I keep it up all the time. 
Can you point me to docs on how to set it up?
