That's strange. I've just downloaded the zip file of HTML pages and
the quick search works fine in offline mode.
Can you specify which zip file you downloaded e.g.
http://docs.scipy.org/doc/numpy/numpy-html.zip,
http://docs.scipy.org/doc/numpy-1.5.x/numpy-html.zip etc.
Exactly what goes wrong when you try to use the "quick search"?
