Someone has reported the error to mayavi: https://github.com/enthought/mayavi/issues/621. But I don't understand the resolution. It's likely some incompatibility between mayavi / vtk / the GUI library. Trying a different GUI library (e.g. Qt) would be my first step. I've used pysurfer/mayavi on ubuntu without issue, but that is installing things using conda and not pip. I know the survey is not exhaustive (for example does not include very important modalities such as EEG, MEG, iEEG or PET). It has to do with the following line: https://github.com/nipy/dipy/blob/9994c2a83f49a3e909b569051326b58f04a14bb2/dipy/reconst/mapmri.py#L405 In an older version of the maprmi code this was a 'strict inequality' as in only a '>' sign, but cvxpy now now only accepts larger or equal than '>='. Updating dipy to the latest version should fix this line to what it should be. best, Rutger On 9 July 2018 at 18:29, Muftuler, L. Tugan wrote: > > Hi, > > I am running mapmri on ex-vivo brain data. These meetups are not tutorials or workshops. Just another tester is presenting you the new tools, framework or an idea they are working on. You can pick it up and explore it further. You can ask your questions to the presenters and they will try to answer with the best of their knowledge. You can even provide your feedback or suggestions for speakers or to us. These live meetups are happening through YouTube and Google Hangout every 4th Saturday of the month at 5:00 PM IST. To join the upcoming meetup, go to YouTube and search "Software Testing Board".
