[Neuroimaging] [PySurfer] When displaying ROI values on the surface, undefined regions are assigned values corresponding to another ROI

Thank you both very much for your help and quick responses.

I haven't hard-coded the hemisphere elsewhere in the code and am using
version 0.5 of PySurfer on a Linux server running CentOS 6.6.

I've uploaded an html version of an ipython notebook with a very stripped
down version of my code and embedded images of the medial and lateral views
that result to show you what I mean and in case there is anything obviously
wrong with my code: http://dbic.dartmouth.edu/~carolyn/test.html

Do you have any thoughts on what might be causing this issue?
