in past i have been associated with data.gov.in  and i was invited to
attend one of there OpenData event ,when i asked the organizers if its ok
to make this invitation public and invite more folks since not many people
know or understand the concept still ,they were ok with the idea and hence

Dear Sir/Madam

National Informatics Centre (NIC) in association with Internet & Mobile
Association of India (IAMAI) & StartUp India had organized Hackathon -
“#OpenGovDataHack” for Students, Entrepreneurs, Innovators, Start-ups,
Developers and Community to create unique and innovative service delivery
Applications & Info-Graphics to foster innovation.

It was conducted in 7 Cities and Online in Phase-1. Apps selected from
phase-I were given 3 month mentorship support from Industry to develop
complete solution in Phase-2. Three winning apps and 7 other apps in
excellence category selected by esteemed national jury would be felicitated
in the National Award Ceremony at Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre,
New Delhi on 01-Nov-2018.

Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Minister of Electronics & Information
Technology and Law & Justice, Government of India will felicitate the
winners. Shri S S Ahluwalia, Minister of States, Ministry of Electronics &
Information Technology will grace the occasion.

We would request your kind presence in the ceremony. Look forward to your
