Hi Guys,
We have been using Google hangout for quite sometime and with time it
was clear that hangout can't be the tool in a ever growing community
in with low bandwidth requirement.
We have now setup mumble[1], an open source VoIP solution on our own
server, initial trial is pretty satisfying, and we encourage everyone
to join our weekly conference call @ Thrus 9am via this tool. You need
the following details to connect:
Server/host: mumble.pydelhi.org
Port: 64738 (thats the default port)
Channel: pydelhi (username: whatever you like)
(password: leave empty)
Head over to http://wiki.mumble.info/wiki/Main_Page do download the
client for your device. Setup is pretty straight forward, just enter
the host and port details provided above.
Let us know if you face any issue.
