We could do any of:

Solaris 2.5 (Sparc 20) with f77 4.0

Sunos 4.1.4 (Sparc 20) with f77 2.0.1

AIX 3.2 with xlf (version ?)

IRIX 6.2 with f77 6.2 (R5000 and R8000)

IRIX 4.0.5 with f77 6.2 (R3000)

Also the f2c'd version of fftpack that comes with Mumit Khan's
fftpack++ has built on all of the above with gcc 2.7.2:
