You must really understand what the modules do and can't.

I suggest you set up two lists; one for delivering and another for
archiving and tee the messages in aliases file, like this
list: "|/path/to/mailman list post", list-archive
list-admin: ...
...
list-archive: "|/path/to/mailman list-archive post"
...
You set up mime content filter in "list" list and no filter but
archiving in "list-archive".
