The mail.python.org machine, which also serves (currently) zope.org and
a few other domains is seriously sick. We have a new machine
commissioned at XS4ALL and are working on migrating all the services
other than zope.org to the new machine. zope.org will be separated and
maintained by Zope Corporation.

We're trying to keep mpo limping along in the meantime. Sorry for the
inconvenience -- please be patient; we hope to have everything back up
and running smoothly on the new machine in a couple of days (remember,
we're all volunteers here ;).
