Public bug reported:

This is more a feature request than a bug.

Often when I'm reading mails from mailing lists I would like to get
easily the url from the web page-archives, which is useful to show the
thread to other people that are not on the list.

Is there a way to do this already?

If not I think there are two options at least:
1. create a way in the API to retrieve the url in the archives from the mail ID
2. add an customisable option where the user can ask to get the public URL attached to every email he receives.

The second seems easier to implement though,
any ideas?
