So why is it triggering a bounce notice? The odd thing about this is that it looks like a normal message gated from NNTP. That's probably a clue and is probably why we only see this weird behavior from python-list. For now, I'm going to re-enable these people and disable bounce processing on python-list. I'll try to find some free time to investigate this further. -Barry From ElzbVj at aol.com Mon Nov 10 22:42:03 2003 From: ElzbVj at aol.com (ElzbVj@aol.com) Date: Wed Nov 12 20:42:33 2003 Subject: [Mailman-21] (no subject) Message-ID: <21.37119770.2ce1b48b@aol.com> Can you please tell me which management interface to use for my list. Yes. Mailman is a very nice mailing list management tool. You need to know Unix mail administration pretty well to get it working, but I imagine that's the case with any open source Unix MLM package. (The other widely-used MLMs that I know of are SuperList and ezmlm, both of which seem to work pretty well. Mailman's main claim to fame is that it has a very thorough web interface, which AFAIK the other two do not.) Please ensure that you're talking about a mailing list at python.org or zope.org -- these are the only mailing lists we control. -Barry From ElzbVj at aol.com Fri Nov 28 05:06:30 2003 From: ElzbVj at aol.com (ElzbVj@aol.com) Date: Sat Nov 29 15:21:57 2003 Subject: [Mailman-21] Subscription Information Message-ID: <15.1d6dab75.2cf87826@aol.com> Hello; I am writing to comfirm my E-Mail address and to ask for HELP. If the list in question is not @python.org or @zope.org, you're barking up the wrong tree; we can only help you with python.org/zope.org lists. And what trouble are you having using them? Greg -- Greg Ward http://www.gerg.ca/ Gee, I feel kind of LIGHT in the head now, knowing I can't make my satellite dish PAYMENTS!
