Thanks for all the feedback folks, I've now incorporated it into the
PEP here: https://github.com/python/peps/commit/221099d8765125bbd798e869846b005bcca84b47

With the SIG's feedback incorporated, the next round of discussion
will take place on python-ideas in parallel with the PEP 540
discussions :)
