It is maintained, but with very low manpower. On the other hand, there are not really critical bugs, we ship IronPython since 5 years in our products, and it works fine. > Will there be any version compatible with the latest .Net framework (4.6.1)? In our experience, the .NET 4.0 version of IronPython works well in .NET Frameworks 4.5.x and 4.6.x. As IronPython is dynamically typed, you should even be able to use the new APIs. We probably need to start building a community first. I think that one of the problems is this very mailing list. It is pretty low on traffic and in my opinion isn't doing a great job at building a community. Our company has had a lot of success using discourse forums to build a community around our product. Is IronPython part of the .Net Foundation? If it is, maybe we can piggyback our their discourse forum by requesting an IronPython category and then directing people there for support. Just a thought. -Steve Steve Baer Robert McNeel & Associates www.rhino3d.com On Tue, Jun 21, 2016 at 12:27 PM, Benedikt Eggers wrote: > Hey, > > manpower sounds good.Jeff wanted to open some discussion thread, so we can > discuss this. > > Thanks to all! > > -----Urspr?ngliche Nachricht----- > Von: Ironpython-users [mailto:ironpython-users-bounces+be= > spiegelburg.net at python.org] Im Auftrag von > ironpython-users-request at python.org > Gesendet: Montag, 20.
