"<p>I don't know whether they can do that much, as IronPython simply cannot load cPython extensions directly (the internal data structures are totally different).</p><p>The IronClad project (https://code.google.com/p/ironclad/) tried to solve the gap by adding a wrapper layer, but it seems dormant right now.</p><p>As far as I could see, they also offer support for C#. My guess is that it is a .NET wrapper DLL which offers a "normal" .NET API - this can directly be used by IronPython via clr.AddReference and Import.</p><p>Maybe you could also leverage the websocket interface.</p>"-----------------
