[IPython-dev] Custom cell types for markup

Hi, 

Unfortunately there is no easy way to use an alternative
markup language for the notebook. 
It was considered, but was considered too complicated 
to support. 

It should be possible but far from easy, and I'm not sure we are
ready yet to re-consider.
