[IPython-dev] frontend namespace flattened (major change)

git clean works, too.  Just to note, I didn't have to do any cleaning. Just
a `git pull` with our [hooks](
https://github.com/ipython/ipython/#git-hooks-and-submodules) installed,
and everything was working fine.
