That would be great, I guess it could be even just leaving what was
there from the docs before the changes, indicating how to call it.

Sure, if the changes are small and self-contained.  I won't be cutting
the RC til Friday (too busy right now), so let's use that as the
cutoff date.  If you can have it done and tested by Friday, we'll roll
it into the RC.  Otherwise we'll never release :)
