Sorry if it sounded like we were putting you on the spot, that was
most definitely *not* our intention.  As Brian said, if you hadn't
done such a crazy good job, we wouldn't even have dreamed of going in
this direction :)

But I think that Brian's point, with which I agree, is basically that
0.11 should go with the pyzmq code *even if it's very raw*, because
the 0.11 Twisted code is broken enough that it would be a dis-service
to our users to lure them into that code.

0.11 will be released as a "tech preview" release, prominently and
clearly labeled as not for production systems, with a note to
distributors that they probably should *not* package it by default as
a replacement for 0.10 yet (that may take another two or three
releases before it's a sensible thing to do).  But the Twisted code in
0.10 is just not in really usable shape, and this is a way of being
upfront and honest about it.

So don't worry too much on your side, we're *not* putting all the
burden on your shoulders.
