Still broken here.  I got the relevant revisions, but it still hangs:

In [1]: 1+2
Warning: Timeout for mainloop thread exceeded
switching to nonthreaded mode (until mainloop wakes up again)


I'll clean up this mess later myself, I have to run to a meeting now.
