Hi everyone,

We would like to submit an official proposal to organise PyCon India
2024 in Bengaluru. Since  the last PyCon India here was in 2015, it
has been a while and we are eager to bring it back.
Details are as follows:

Location: Bengaluru
Dates: 20th Sep - 23rd Sep 2024
Venue: Nimhans Convention Centre
Total Capacity: 1200

Proposed Format:
4-day event format.

Date: 20th Sep (Fri)
Workshop
3 Tracks - 6 Workshop
Venue: Nimhans

Date: 21st Sep (Sat) & 22nd Sep (Sun)
Conference
3 Tracks
Venue: Nimhans
Nimhans has 3 halls:
1. 800 (main hall) + 300(main hall balcony area)
2. 300 (hall 2)
3. 200 (hall 3)

Date: 23rd Sep (Mon)
Dev Sprint
Single Track
Venue: To be decided

Other tracks such as poster presentation, hallway tracks, and so on
will be decided at a later time.

We've been able to bring in an initial team to make the event
successful (in no particular order).

Individual team workgroup coordination - based on convenience
All Volunteers coordination - WhatsApp (temporary)
Community-wide communication + Periodic updates - InPyCon Mailing List
Social Media - Twitter/LinkedIn/Insta/Facebook
Task Management tools - Github

We would appreciate everyone's go-ahead to proceed further. Once
finalised, we'll officially start with public volunteer calls on each
workgroup as needed.

We are thrilled to share that PyCon India 2024 is scheduled to take place
from September 20th to September 23rd. As we prepare for this event, we would
like to invite you to become a part of our volunteer team.

Our conference is a community-driven event, and it's volunteers like you
