My reasoning is that workshops are immersive than the conferences (by the virtue of the time allotted to them) which are more shallow since the user gets a higher view of the problem being solved than the workshops. This would also supplement the belief that workshops would be better at getting hands-on faster than the conferences. Also, workshops provide a low level and a more practical view of the problem being solved. What does the community think?
