What better than a good talk to get everyone pepped up and wishing that the conference was not over at that time? That's my thought anyway.

It's something I've noticed in some conferences e.g.https://us.pycon.org/2015/schedule/talks/ and https://tw.pycon.org/2016/en-us/events/schedule/#2016-06-05 but this is probably just confirmation bias.

I second Noufal. A Keynote as the last talk is a great booster to end the conference. You can also use the same time to talk about  next years conference, thank the speakers and attendees.
