[Inpycon] Questions for "python in education" panel

Hello,

It seems a there's a fair amount of activity in trying to engage
college students (though a certain demographic, as the previous poster
pointed out). Are there similar activities for younger school
students?
On the other side of the spectrum, are there efforts to support
educators who can potentially mentor their students as they explore
and learn about Python?

For both these questions, I'm interested in knowing what has been the
response like. If such efforts do not exist, what are the barriers?

Thanks,
Sayamindu
