Summary: copy/paste menu items fail

Initial Comment:
The Edit/Cut, Edit/Copy Edit/Paste menu items are not
working.
Neither are the shortcuts keys unless they are the same
as the OS default.

Windows 2K
Python 2.2.1
IDLEfork from CVS Sept 19

I have noticed that BicycleRepairMan_Idle.py is not working 
with CVS idle. The extension loads but menu items do not 
work. Also my own idle extensions do not have their event's 
fire (as defined in config-extensions.def) unless they also 
have keybindings defined. 

I have been meaning to look at this but have enough other 
things right now.
