[Expat-discuss] port to OS/390

I would be interested to hear if anybody has attempted porting expat to OS/390 UNIX. I gave configure a quick try, and it doesn't work out of the box. I have been struggling getting other open source packages to build, so I might go ahead and work on getting expat ported, but I thought I would check around. It's still an open issue whether the app I'm building needs a parser or not (but you can ALWAYS find something to use XML for....;-) ), so I might not get to this any time soon...

Any hints/clues/dire-warnings would be appreciated!
